Privacy Policy
How Now What? stores your progress and uses Apple services and RevenueCat to manage purchases.

Last updated: 2026-10-18
The short version: Your progress stays on your device and, if enabled, in your private iCloud storage. We use RevenueCat to manage purchases with an anonymous identifier. The game has no accounts, advertising or cross-app tracking.
What the game does not do
- No accounts and no sign-up.
- No advertising.
- No tracking across other companies' apps or websites.
- No sharing of your name or email address with RevenueCat.
Where your progress lives
Your progress is saved on your device. If iCloud is turned on for the game, your progress is also saved in your own private iCloud storage so that it syncs between your devices. That storage belongs to your Apple Account; we cannot read it.
You can erase your progress at any time from the game's Settings. Deleting the game removes what is stored on the device.
Services provided by Apple
- iCloud syncs your progress, if you have it turned on.
- Game Center shows leaderboards and achievements, if you choose to sign in. Scores you post there are visible according to your Game Center settings.
- The App Store processes the purchase of the full game. We never see your payment details.
These services are run by Apple and are covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Purchases and RevenueCat
The game sends purchase history to RevenueCat to verify purchases, unlock the full game, restore access and provide purchase metrics. RevenueCat processes this information on its servers.
RevenueCat also receives service information such as the device type, operating system and when the game last connected.
RevenueCat creates an anonymous identifier for the game. We do not connect it to a name, email address, Game Center profile or other account. We do not use purchase information for advertising or tracking. Apple handles payment details; neither we nor RevenueCat receive them.
For more information, see RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
Notifications
If you turn on the daily reminder, it is scheduled on your device. Nothing is sent to us.
Children
The game does not ask children to provide a name, email address or other contact information. The purchase processing described above applies to everyone who uses the game.
If you write to us
When you email us for support we receive your email address and whatever you choose to tell us. We use it only to answer you.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
